Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a 15-bed ED, including fast track and triage areas.
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient responses within the nursing process.
- Assist with a variety of emergency procedures utilizing equipment such as EPIC and Accudose.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care and ensure safety.
- Float to other units/departments as needed, following appropriate protocols and training.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including badge in/out procedures and dress code (navy blue scrubs).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience in a high-volume setting (around 28,000+ annual visits).
- Current MN state RN license.
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and TNCC certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other or third weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Level III or higher experience.
- PALS certification.
- Experience with Epic and Accudose systems, with training provided during orientation.
