Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
• Assist in managing complex medical and surgical conditions, including respiratory distress, prematurity, and neonatal surgical issues.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective care utilizing the nursing process.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, ensuring coverage during varying unit requirements.
• Support families through education and compassionate care, including post-discharge infant monitoring programs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, preferably in a Level IV setting (Level III considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Active RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact license.
• BLS and NRP certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO, CRRT, and neonatal surgical support.
• Knowledge of pediatric palliative care.
• Ability to work rotating night shifts and float within scope as needed.

Additional Details

• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period with holiday rotation.

• Dress code: solid royal blue or white tops with royal blue bottoms.
• Parking: available through designated garage with permit.
• Hurricane season may require emergency response duties.
