Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will perform assigned laboratory tests in specialty departments, including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology. You will be responsible for complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform complex analysis of microscopic, immunologic, biologic, bacteriologic, hematologic, and chemical tests and their results • Troubleshoot/resolve instrument problems and document corrective action • Ensure quality control is properly performed and logged • Participate in phlebotomy and accession responsibilities • Train new employees and/or students • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations
Requirements:
• State license as a generalist (or qualify for one) • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field • Medical Technologists (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist registry required • ASCP or equivalent preferred • US Authorization to work
