Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Mids
Key Responsibilities:
• Data collection and unit information management • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans • Conduct routine assessments and interventions to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of ER experience in a main ER • Must have a valid Paramedic License/Certification • Experienced with running lab equipment (e.g. Picolo, Istat, Triage Meter, ID Now, Clinitek) • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and NRP
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience working in a Freestanding ER • Experience with Lucas Device, Nurse run Lab, Ventilator, CPAP/BiPap, Blanketrol, and Lifepack 15 • Ability to perform procedures such as Chest Tubes Placement, Intubations, Conscious sedations, Wound repair Splinting using Orthoglass, and Nebulizer treatment
