Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Location: Corsicana, TX

Schedule: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in providing patient care, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals. • Educate patients and families on exercise programs, mobility aids, and other therapies to promote independence and well-being.

Required Qualifications:

• Current state license as a physical therapy assistant (PTA) • Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or equivalent • 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting (new graduates welcome to apply)

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or other healthcare setting • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical software • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
