Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care / PCU / Stepdown unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry, ensuring timely intervention when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans focused on patient recovery and safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Float to other units as needed, supporting hospital-wide patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or a state with reciprocity.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Recent progressive care or telemetry experience.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain a positive attitude.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a busy PCU or stepdown unit.
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and related equipment.
