Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond to emergencies accordingly.
- Document patient responses and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio license or current license from a compact state.
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
- Recent 18+ months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience, including travel experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting with high patient acuity.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and every other holiday.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
