Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to diverse patient populations.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Address a range of clinical conditions including trauma, fractures, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, PAD, small bowel obstructions, prostate and colon cancers, pancreatitis, facial injuries, fibroids, laryngeal cancer, respiratory distress, gunshot injuries, and non-healing wounds.
- Support surgical specialties including ENT, OMFS, and GYN, ensuring optimal patient recovery and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
- Valid RN license and verification through Nursys.
- Current certification in medical-surgical nursing applicable (e.g., BLS, ACLS as required).
- Epic EMR system experience is required; must be noted in profile.
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days and all demographic information including badge-appropriate photo.
- Skills checklist and professional references.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings.
- Familiarity with trauma cases and complex medical conditions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
