Key Responsibilities
• Assist with orthopedic, endoscopy, and general surgical procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique and instrument handling.
• Set up and strip down operating rooms before and after surgeries under the supervision of Circulating Nurses.
• Provide instruments and supplies promptly to surgeons during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Support surgical teams by understanding procedural protocols, especially in orthopedic cases.
• May act as a Circulating Nurse as needed, with guidance from registered nursing staff.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ orthopedic surgical tech experience.
• Current Colorado Surgical Technologist License eligibility.
• Knowledge of PAR lists and supply requisition procedures.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Experience with total joints and orthopedic surgeries is mandatory; spinal experience is preferred.

• Experience working in rural or mountain healthcare settings.
• Ability to adapt to a resort community lifestyle and relocate if needed.
