Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed Medical Surgical unit, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor and document patient progress using electronic medical records (Meditech).
- Assist in managing complex wounds, administering blood products, and pain management.
- Support patients with tubes and drains, including NG, PEG, feeding tubes, surgical drains, and chest tubes.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Operate medical equipment such as remote telemetry monitors, vein finders, and glucometers accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Ability to work 13-week assignment starting September 8, 2025.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma or telemetry experience.
- Knowledge of complex wound care and blood product administration.
- Experience managing tubes, drains, and other specialized care.
