Key Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergent nursing care to ER patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Assess patient conditions, perform procedures such as IV insertion, blood collection, and medication administration.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with patients and their families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to perform procedures such as IV insertion, blood collection, and medication administration.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC and ENPC certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience using Meditech documentation system.
• Comfortable working with advanced monitoring equipment (Zolls, US, GE Monitors, Welch Allen VS, BD IVs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios of 4-5:1.
