Nights, Full-time, Contract (16-32 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care in a birthing center setting
- Float between med surg and emergency department units as needed
- Work approximately every other weekend and 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards
- Utilize Epic EMR system and demonstrate recent experience within the past 2 years
- Complete detailed employment history and ensure facility-specific information is accurately provided
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- At least 1 year of Labor, Delivery, and Post-Partum (LDRP) experience
- Recent Epic EMR experience (within last 2 years)
- Ability to float between med surg and emergency units
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience working in birthing departments, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires during winter months
- Strong documentation skills including explanation of employment gaps over 90 days
