Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for labor and delivery patients during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Monitor fetal heart activity and ensure the safety of mother and baby throughout labor.
- Administer medications and perform procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and support families during labor and delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification.
- WOH (Workplace of Health) Certification or equivalent.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems.
- Ability to work effectively during night shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
