Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in a busy Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical information
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns as necessary
- Ensure documentation complies with hospital and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid SC or Compact RN license in hand prior to start
- BLS certification required
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to float to other Med/Surg units if needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with renal or specialty MedSurg care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
