• Rotating shifts, full-time, 12-hour nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care for premature and critically ill neonates.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage for holidays and weekends.
• Maintain adherence to patient acuity ratios, adjusting care as needed for 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 ratios.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
• Promote family-centered care and support families through education and emotional support.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience, preferably in a Level IV setting; Level III considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS and NRPL certifications.
• Ability to float within scope and adapt to facility needs.
• Experience working with neonatal respiratory, surgical, ECMO/CRRT, and nutritional support.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with neonatal surgical care and advanced respiratory support.
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated hospital or teaching facility.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
