Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure aseptic techniques and infection control protocols are strictly followed.
• Carefully monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient information.
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for upcoming procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (must obtain before start date; license in hand not required to apply).
• Ability to pass an online EKG tele-competency assessment prior to assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with some level of scrub experience preferred.
• Must obtain required licenses before contract begins.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with robotic surgical systems such as da Vinci.
• Previous experience in operating room settings, including working with surgical suites.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for holiday and weekend shifts.

Additional Notes

• Schedule includes 5 days per week, with every 4th weekend and all holidays during the contract.
• Shifts are 8 hours, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
• This is a 13-week contract with potential for schedule adjustments due to census.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel shifts or terminate the agreement with two weeks’ notice without penalty.
