Full-time, Days, EOW (Every Other Week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provides specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Works collaboratively within a team comprised of RNs and CSTs to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Adheres to scheduled shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, working Friday through Monday EOW.
- Participates in on-call duties after scheduled hours on Friday through Sunday during assigned weeks.
- Flexes to float to other hospital units or campuses as needed, following competency guidelines.
- Assists with patient preparation and post-operative care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active SC RN license or multistate license.
- Minimum of one year of scrub experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting.
- Ability to work within team-based model with flexibility to float.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgery is highly preferred.
- Previous float or travel nursing experience in similar environments.
- First scrub experience appreciated but not required.
