Registered Nurse Operating Room
Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, varying hours including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in circulating for one OR room in a busy surgical department with 35 operating rooms
- Work independently during assigned shifts, providing patient care in the operating room setting
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and surgical equipment
- Adhere to hospital dress code; scrubs provided, no earrings, following surgical dress standards
- Complete orientation including hospital policies, charting, and unit-specific protocols within the first week
- Float to various perioperative units such as pre-op and PACU as needed, with flexibility to work across specialties
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota
- Experience working in an operating room setting
- Ability to provide circulating duties for surgical cases
- Must badge in and out at the facility for each shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Sanford Health or similar healthcare systems (note if applicable, end date must be 6 months prior)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different surgical specialties
- Flexibility with shift hours including evenings, weekends, and call shifts (average 1-2 per month)
