Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and manage symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Document patient progress and update electronic medical records accurately
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology unit
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience
- Knowledge of oncology procedures and treatments
- Experience working in a hospital environment
- BLS and ACLS certifications
