Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies
- Respond to patient needs and assist with procedures as required
Required Qualifications
- Active compact license as a Registered Nurse at submission
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based experience in a medical-surgical unit
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Valid healthcare license in Virginia or ability to reciprocate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
