Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy emergency room setting, rotating through various units including ED, Fast Track, and Observation.
• Perform triage, quick registration, and assist with entry screening to facilitate efficient patient flow.
• Assist with COVID testing and immunization clinics as needed.
• Adapt to changing assignments and support department needs during shifts, including floating to other units if qualified.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols for patient safety and care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an emergency or acute care setting.
• Valid RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
• Certification in conscious sedation (can be obtained through the facility after hire, with a fee).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital emergency department.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical areas and tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
