Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 12-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care in a designated LDRP unit.
• Assess, monitor, and manage laboring patients, including performing fetal monitoring and managing obstetric emergencies.
• Perform procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, and assisted deliveries with vacuum or forceps.
• Transition mothers and newborns post-delivery, ensuring stability and safety.
• Respond to OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage with advanced clinical skills.
• Collaborate with a seasoned team of nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license and state-specific nursing licensure.
• BLS, NRP certifications, and Fetal Monitoring training.
• Experience in labor and delivery with the ability to manage labor, recovery, and neonatal transition.
• Ability to handle OB emergencies and perform obstetric procedures.
• Strong assessment and patient management skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB crises.
• Familiarity with fetal monitoring, inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil), and OB procedures.
• Previous travel nurse experience is a plus.
