Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician’s orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient responses and progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Work independently while adhering to hospital policies, standards of care, and physician guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• Valid, unrestricted nursing license in any U.S. state, territory, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility with diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with trauma and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
