Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the operating room setting.
- Assist surgical teams with various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and assess patient status before, during, and after surgeries.
- Maintain sterile techniques and comply with hospital policies and protocols.
- Document patient care and surgical details accurately in electronic charting systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless perioperative patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of outpatient or inpatient operating room nursing experience.
- Experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgeries is required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in acute care hospitals.
- Strong knowledge of Epic electronic charting system.
- Ability to float between different OR units as needed.
