Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

• Hilo, HI

Schedule / Job Type
• Days — 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours), no guarantee of hours

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment with a 28-bed department, including trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a team-oriented setting, managing multiple cases efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective treatment for emergency patients.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Required Qualifications
• Current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Hawaii.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Ability to obtain Hawaii state licensure prior to start date.
• All travelers not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply and obtain licensure upon acceptance of the offer.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Additional certifications such as Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC are preferred but not required.
• Prior ER nursing experience is advantageous.
