Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders
- Assist in monitoring and recording sleep patterns in a clinical setting
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during sleep studies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret sleep data
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and results
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited polysomnography or respiratory therapy program
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with sleep specialty (RRT-SDS)
- Valid Oregon State license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working as a sleep technologist
- Strong understanding of sleep study protocols and equipment
- Excellent patient communication skills
