Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology (IR) and special procedure imaging as directed by physicians.
- Provide technical support during IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging.
- Collaborate with medical team to prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
- Maintain documentation and charts related to procedures and patient care.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of IR or special procedures imaging experience.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- BLS certification.
- Fluoroscopy certification.
- State radiologic license.
- Ability to be on-call 1-2 days per week with rotating weekends.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and interventional procedures.
