Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support in radiology and interventional radiology, including patient monitoring, medication administration, and IV placement.
- Assist with urgent and emergent situations such as contrast reactions and diabetic symptoms.
- Prepare patients for imaging exams and administer medications, including IV conscious sedation.
- Care for patients during interventional radiology procedures, documenting care in EMR systems.
- Support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Facility conscious sedation certification.
- Experience in cath lab and interventional radiology (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR and GE patient monitoring systems.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in cardiac catheterization labs or electrophysiology (EP) units.
- Ability to handle varied case loads and adapt to fluctuating patient support needs.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with radiology nurses and support staff.
