Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing support in radiology and interventional radiology settings.
- Monitor patients, administer fluids, start IVs, and assist with urgent/emergency situations such as contrast reactions or diabetic symptoms.
- Prepare patients for imaging exams and administer medications, including IV conscious sedation for MRI procedures.
- Care for patients during interventional radiology procedures, including administering sedation and documenting care in EMR.
- Support imaging and IR teams with patient care and procedure preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab and interventional radiology preferred.
- Current state RN license in WI.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Facility conscious sedation certification.
- Proficiency with GE patient monitoring systems and EMR (Epic).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience supporting radiology and interventional procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating patient volumes.
- Strong documentation and patient care skills.
