- Full-time, night shifts, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythm.
- Utilize remote telemetry monitoring systems and Cerner EMR for patient documentation and observation.
- Prepare patients for procedures such as Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and best practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Sign up for scheduled weekend shifts and participate in on-call rotation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure in North Carolina or the ability to obtain license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with medical telemetry monitoring.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership or charge nurse experience.
- BSN degree.
- CMSRN certification (encouraged).
- Prior experience working with Cerner EMR and remote monitoring equipment.
