Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week assignment
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and pediatric patients in a medical-surgical ward
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and a full-time hospitalist physician to ensure quality care
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, particularly in a medical-surgical setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients
- Familiarity with rural healthcare facilities and practices
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
