Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information. • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. • Educate patients and families on proper care techniques, disease management, and health promotion. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records and progress notes.
Required Qualifications • Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. • Knowledge of gerontological nursing principles and practices. • BSN degree or associate's degree in nursing preferred.
