Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), includes weekend and holiday rotation, floating within scope at facility discretion
Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe, effective care for critically ill neonates, including preterm and surgical cases
• Monitor and manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory support, ECMO/CRRT, and postoperative care
• Support family education and postpartum planning, including infant home monitoring programs
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including medication administration and documentation in Epic
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, preferably at a Level IV NICU (Level III accepted on a case-by-case basis)
• Current BLS and NRPN certifications
• Active RN license in South Carolina or a Multi-State/Compact license
• Ability to float within scope and work extended hours during shift rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neonatal surgical cases and advanced respiratory support
• Familiarity with hospital Electronic Medical Records (Epic) system
• Previous experience working in a teaching or trauma center
