Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to long-term acute care (LTAC) patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and document all care accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond to patient needs, including emergencies and urgent situations.
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and patient safety procedures.
• Assist with patient activities and ensure comfort and well-being throughout shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of one year experience in a long-term acute care or hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for complex and chronically ill patients.
• Knowledge of ventilator management and tracheostomy care.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
