Job Title

• Certified Surgical Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary (13-week assignment), day shift, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide surgical instruments and equipment during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety and infection control
• Assist surgeons and surgical team throughout operations
• Follow sterilization and cleansing protocols for instruments and equipment
• Float to other departments as needed to support surgical services

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a Surgical Technology program preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Surgical Tech certification required
• Knowledge of instrument care, handling, and sterilization procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One or more years of experience in an acute care hospital OR setting or instrument care environment

Shift Details

• Days, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, starting November 2, 2025, ending January 31, 2026

Additional Information

• Must be willing to participate in 1-2 call nights per week and 1-2 24-hour weekend call shifts per schedule
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and communicating effectively throughout the shift
