Full-time, nights (7 PM – 7 AM), 13-week travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans tailored to individual needs and age groups.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality care protocols.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, and families to deliver compassionate care.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and patient crises.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and patient safety standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as patient transfers and prolonged standing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in oncology or related units.
• Knowledge of neuro/ortho care is a plus.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification is optional.
