Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical units within a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and manage pain levels, ensuring effective pain management strategies
• Handle telemetry and IV starts, maintaining high standards of patient safety and care
• Collaborate with medical team to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Float to other med-surg units as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Support weekend shifts, with every other weekend required; make-up shifts if calling out on weekends

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or tele unit
• Orthopedic surgery experience required
• Current BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts and float across units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Charge nurse experience
• Level I trauma experience
