Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients.
• Implement treatment plans and exercises as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Support patient comfort and motivation throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of therapy equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
• Prior experience working with senior or long-term care populations preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must pass AHCA background check.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in senior care or rehabilitation settings.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to therapy in healthcare.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
