Registered Nurse - PACU

Days, 13-week assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery in the PACU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and recoveries, ensuring safety and stability.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Peri-Anesthesia or PACU nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in surgical specialties such as orthopedics, plastics, general surgery, colorectal, or GYN.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous work in outpatient or surgery center settings.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
• Strong observation and critical thinking skills.
