Day shifts; potential for on-call duties
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal well-being and maternal vital signs during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and assist during deliveries.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California (pending licenses accepted at time of submission).
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- At least 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience preferred, but first-timers accepted.
- Ability to float between like units at the discretion of management.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
- Ability to work flexible hours including every other weekend.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
