Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients in a busy Labor and Delivery unit.
- Circulate during cesarean section procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Support culturally diverse patient populations with compassionate and personalized care.
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Experience in labor and delivery settings, with at least 1 year preferred.
- Ability to circulate during C-sections and handle high-risk OB cases.
- Willingness to float between units as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, acute care hospital environment.
