Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time, 4x12-hour shifts upon request
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide labor and postpartum care for patients in a high-volume acute care hospital
- Maintain appropriate patient ratios (1:3) and ensure quality care throughout shifts
- Adhere to hospital protocols and documentation, utilizing Epic electronic charting system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Complete orientation including 36 hours of training
- Respond to unit needs, including potential floating to like units
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (pending licenses not accepted)
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
