Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time, temporary, flexible scheduling (facility determines complete schedule)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a mixed acuity Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including PCU and MS patients
- Manage IV starts, Tracheostomy care, and Telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive nursing care
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Follow established protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Complete orientation with initial days on dayshift followed by unit-specific training and preceptorship
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- BCLS certification
- Skills in IV starts, telemetry, and tracheostomy management
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Oncology experience (preferred but not required)
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Flexibility with schedule, including working weekends and variable shifts
