Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor, utilizing necessary assessments.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and family members throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of California; active and unrestricted.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and postpartum nursing experience.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate or higher.
• Labor and delivery experience is required; post-partum experience preferred.
• Ability to work 4x12-hour shifts upon request.
• BCLS and ACLS certified.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Additional certification in AWHONN Advanced is a plus.
• Experience working in a busy acute care hospital environment.
• Ability to float between labor/delivery and postpartum units if needed.

Note:
This position requires adherence to unit-specific dress code (Royal Blue or Navy Blue scrubs for RNs, Peds-friendly attire, Navy Blue for phlebotomy, and Black for imaging tech). Hospital charting is through Epic.
Candidates must be local or willing to commute to Santa Rosa, CA. RTO restrictions apply at the time of submission.
Candidates should be prepared to float between similar units as needed.
