• Night shifts, part-time (weekend shifts approximately 3-4 weekends per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) during night shifts.
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, and administer continuous IV sedation.
• Titrate IV vasopressors and interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias for patient stability.
• Implement and monitor isolation precautions, manage central lines, and oversee IV drips.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and accurate computerized documentation.
• Perform triage and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, especially post-surgical and neuro cases.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong neuro critical care experience.
• 1.5+ years of recent ICU experience.
• Certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS.
• Experience with airway management, vented patients, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Previous travel or agency experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing patients with multisystem organ failure post-thoracic, neurosurgical, or complex surgeries.
• Proficiency with fempops, CEAs, and neurosurgical patient care.
• Skills in computerized documentation and ER triage for ICU settings.
