Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Lexington, KY

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized critical care to ICU patients, including those with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
• Manage airway, ventilated patients, and administer continuous IV sedation and vasopressors.
• Perform airway management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and ABG analysis.
• Monitor and manage central lines, IV drips, and TPN/ECMO if applicable.
• Follow isolation precautions and ensure accurate computerized documentation.
• Assist with triage in ER/ER Holding areas when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of recent ICU experience.
• Strong neuro experience is essential.
• Certification in NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Experience with airway management, vented patients, dysrhythmia interpretation, and managing multisystem organ failure.
• Previous travel or agency experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with femoral popliteal bypass, CEA, post-thoracic surgeries, post-craniotomies, or neurosurgeries.
• Skills in titration of IV vasopressors and management of complex ICU cases.
