Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult ICU respiratory care, including airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Administer oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP as needed.
• Utilize clinical equipment such as Hamilton G5 and Philips V60, ensuring proper operation and documentation within the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members in general and adult intensive care settings to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Comply with infection control protocols, including COVID and flu vaccination policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Indiana State Respiratory Therapist license in hand.
• BLS, ACLS, and NBRC RRT certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of in-person, adult ICU respiratory care experience.
• Graduated from an accredited COARC regionally approved program.
• Experience with airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, ABGs, and pulmonary therapies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in trauma, teaching hospital, or emergency room settings.
• Familiarity with bronchoscopy procedures.
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system.
• Experience with advanced respiratory equipment such as Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 ventilators.
