Job Title

• Full-time, night shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a combined ED setting
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring timely assessments and interventions
• Perform advanced procedures including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory management
• Interpret EKGs, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to cardiac emergencies such as STEMI and strokes
• Administer medications including IV paralytics, sedatives, vasopressors, and emergency medications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality trauma and emergency care

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
• Valid BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Active license to practice as a registered nurse in Missouri or pending license accepted
• Proficiency in pediatrics emergencies, trauma procedures, and cardiac monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with pediatric emergencies such as near drowning, burns, and respiratory conditions
• Ability to manage psychiatric crises, including acute psychosis and violent behavior
• Procedural sedation administration skills
• Comfortable floating between departments and facilities within scope as needed
