Registered Nurse - PICU

Full-time, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Float between units as needed to support patient care needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of pediatric care
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and timely
• Participate in on-call rotations as required, with weekend shifts included

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• Experience or willingness to work in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic life support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior PICU nursing experience preferred but not required
• Comfort working in a pediatric hospital setting
• Ability to float between units and manage varying patient ratios
