Job Title

• Lee's Summit, MO

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, on an as-needed basis with guaranteed hours of 3 shifts every 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities
• Perform decontamination, manual cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and scopes
• Organize and assemble trays, ensuring proper labeling and wrapping of instruments
• Use ultrasonic cleaners, washers, and sterilizers according to protocols
• Maintain documentation of sterilization processes and equipment testing
• Reprocess various scopes including endoscopes, cystoscopes, uteroscopes, and robotic instruments
• Adhere to sterilization procedures for different surgical specialties such as orthopedics, OB/GYN, neurology, urology, vascular, and more

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sterile processing or similar role
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Knowledge of chemical agents, sterilization wrapping, and steam sterilization monitoring
• Experience with endoscope reprocessing and instrumentation

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Certifications such as CBSPD or CRCST are a plus
• Familiarity with biological and chemical indicator testing and Steris equipment
• Ability to work within a fast-paced healthcare environment and adapt as needed
